In order to promote ease access to and use of high quality sanitary napkins to women and adolescent girls and to ensure safe disposal of Sanitary Napkins in an environmentally friendly manner, Jalandhar Smart City Limited has installed 76 set of machines of Sanitary Napkin Vending Machines and Electric Incinerators at various footfall location across the city.
This would not only provide easy access, but also help to empower women and create awareness about women’s health.
With the help of this machine the napkins can be availed just by dropping the coins which makes it very affordable.
To prevent environmental pollution caused by non-biodegradable sanitary napkins thrown openly, incinerators have also been installed.

- The machine is fully automatic electronic and wall mounted.
- A set of 3 pad at the cost of just Rs 10/-.
- Vending Machine will have option to dispense one pad @ Rs. 5 or dispense.
- one set of three (3) sanitary napkin pad at the rate of Rs.10 only.
- Pad storage capacity is 200 pieces.
- Used pad incinerator capacity-150-200 pad per day.
- Incinerator is auto power cut-off.
- This project has web portal( http://portal.innowayindia.com/machine ) for administration and contractor will maintain the MIS data of each machine.
